01These terms
These terms cover thesavistudio.com and the work SAVI Studios does for you. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them.
Every job also gets a written proposal or agreement. If it says something different from these terms, the written agreement wins for that job.
02What we do
- Builds. A one-time app build, scoped in writing first.
- Care. A monthly plan for hosting, maintenance, fixes, support, and a set number of hours of minor updates.
- CRM. Push notifications and in-app messages, set up and sent as part of each care plan, up to the monthly count in the plan.
- Reach. Ad management for a monthly studio fee. The ad budget is separate.
03Scope and changes
Screens, modules, revision rounds, and timelines are agreed in writing before design starts. Anything outside that scope, like a new feature or a redesign, is quoted separately before we do it. If a feature cannot run on your app, we say so before we quote it.
04Prices and payment
Prices are listed on the site, and your agreement confirms them. A build starts with a 50% deposit. The rest of the build fee is due when you accept the build. Care, CRM, and Reach plans are billed monthly. Each care plan has a minimum term of three months, and care invoices are due net 30, within 30 days of the invoice date. Each invoice shows its due date, and we send invoices by email.
Third-party costs are yours, and they are not part of our fees. These include app store accounts, card processing fees, other platform fees, and the ad budget you spend with ad platforms.
05Revision rounds
Each build plan includes a set number of consolidated revision rounds: 2 on SAVI Launch, 3 on SAVI Growth, and 4 on SAVI Partner. A round is one list of changes, sent together. Extra rounds are priced separately.
06Care hours and requests
Care hours are for minor updates and belong to their month. Unused hours do not roll over unless your written agreement says otherwise. You send maintenance requests by email. We schedule them, log the time, and count it against your hours. If a request would go past your hours, we tell you the price before we do the extra work.
07Ads and campaigns
The studio fee pays for our work. The ad budget is paid to the ad platforms and is separate. Ad platforms and app stores set their own rules and can reject, limit, or remove ads, messages, or apps. We follow their rules and tell you when something is blocked. We cannot promise specific results, like a number of customers or sales.
08App stores
Apple and Google decide whether a native app is approved. We help you submit when your plan includes it, but we cannot guarantee approval or how long review takes.
09What you provide
You give us the content, brand files, account access, and approvals the work needs, and on time. You confirm you have the right to use what you send us, like logos, fonts, photos, and text. Delays on your side can move the timeline.
10Who owns what
Your agreement names who owns the account, source code, content, customer data, and messaging list. Your content and brand stay yours. We keep our own general tools, methods, and know-how, and we may reuse them on other work without using your content or data.
11Confidentiality
We keep your business information, customer data, and anything you mark private confidential. We use it only to do your work. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
12Ending a plan
How and when a monthly plan can end is set in your agreement. When a plan ends, you pay for the work done and the time used up to that point, and we hand over what your agreement says is yours.
13Warranties and liability
We do the work with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, the site and services are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service involved in the 12 months before the claim.
14Using the site
Do not try to break into the site or access other clients’ information, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may turn off access that is misused.
15Questions and disputes
If something goes wrong, write to [email protected] first. Most things get sorted out in a conversation, and we will try that before anything else.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not alter a signed agreement unless both sides agree in writing.
