When an agency says ads cost "$3,000 a month," ask which $3,000. Every ad plan has two numbers, and mixing them up is how owners end up confused about where their money went.
The ad budget goes to the platforms
This is what Google or Meta charges to show your ads. It pays for the clicks and views themselves. More budget means more people see the ad.
The fee pays for the work
This is what the agency charges to plan the campaigns, make the ads, set up targeting, watch the numbers, and cut what is not working. It does not buy a single click on its own.
How ours break down
| Reach plan | Studio fee | Suggested ad budget | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| SAVI Launch | $1,000 | $1K to $3K | $2K to $4K |
| SAVI Growth | $2,500 | $3K to $10K | $5.5K to $12.5K |
| SAVI Partner | $5,000 | $10K to $25K | $15K to $30K |
Questions to ask any agency
- Is the ad budget paid straight to Google and Meta, or through you?
- Who owns the ad accounts if we stop working together?
- What does each ad point to: a booking, an order, a visit?
- How will you report what the ads brought in, not just clicks?
- How many new ads do you make each month?
Point every ad at something
The ads that pay for themselves send people somewhere specific: a booking page, an order screen, directions to the door. An ad that just says "we exist" is hard to measure and easy to waste money on.
